This guided tour will take you back to the 10th century, the splendorous period of the Umayyad dynasty

Medina Azahara is one the of the most important archaeological places of Spain that's why it was declared World Heritage in 2018 by UNESCO.

It was the nest of very important doctors at the time, like Albucasis, it held multiple meetings between caliphs and high representatives from around the world from the German Empire to the Bizantine Empire. It was also an architectural reference to following royal residences.

In this two hour tour you will get to know the history behind this palatial city and its different monuments like the Palace of the Caliph and all of its rooms as well as the courtyards. After that, you will continue to visit the remains of one its four mosques and the principal entrance from Córdoba.
